National Land Management Agency

The Organization Act of the National Land Management Agency, Ministry of the Interior and the Organization Act of the National Park Service, Ministry of the Interior were passed by the Legislative Yuan on May 26, 2023, announced by the President on June 9, 2023, and approved by the Executive Yuan for implementation on September 20, 2023. The two organizations were also officially unveiled on this day. The Construction and Planning Agency was reorganized into the National Land Management Agency and the National Park Service, and the Northern Branch Urban Infrastructure Construction, Central Branch Urban Infrastructure Construction, Southern Branch Urban Infrastructure Construction, and Sewer Engineering Branch were also established under the National Land Management Agency. The Urban and Rural Development Branch and the various national park headquarters that were under the jurisdiction of the Construction and Planning Agency were also reorganized to fall under the jurisdiction of the National Land Management Agency and the National Park Service on the same day.
It is the central governmental authority in charge of the planning, utilization, and management of national lands, implementing building administration, and handling matters related to housing/urban regeneration, urban infrastructure, and sewer construction.
