Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy encourages all exhibitors to focus on 3R (recycle, reuse, reduce) when designing their booths, so as to move toward a sustainable expo. Furthermore, we encourage exhibitors to incorporate energy-saving and carbon-reducing design concepts, along with selection of appropriate materials, to promote environmental awareness and embody the spirit of energy efficiency and carbon reduction. Our aim is to implement the concept of a green exhibition, thereby reducing the environmental impact of venue decoration and waste generated during the course of the event.
Entries are grouped into five aspects: “Green Design Creativity”, “Energy Saving and Efficiency”, “Carbon-reducing Decoration”, “Environmental Sustainability” and “Green Promotion” of the “Green Design Booth.” We also provide the exhibitors with suggested directions of booth designing to choose the executable approach and to implement them in the exhibition.
After many seeing exhibitors in the 2024 3rd SDG Asia Expo use various sustainable materials for their setups aiming for a “green exhibition,” the organizers and judges have decided to increase the number of awards and introduce the “Platinum Award” to further encourage such efforts. With the “Green Design Award”, we hope to encourage all returning and first-time participants to continue learning and improving, striving for even greener solutions.
