CCUS Forum

In 2023, our government amended the “Climate Change Response Act,” setting a national goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050. In this strategy, energy transformation plays a critical role, with Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technology recognized internationally as an essential tool for achieving net zero emissions. This technology significantly reduces carbon emissions from industrial and energy sectors, providing viable solutions for hard-to-abate industries.

Building on the success of previous conferences, this forum will focus on the latest developments in carbon capture technology and its application plans in our country. We have invited experts from leading domestic and international companies and research institutions to share their latest breakthroughs and innovations, covering topics from laboratory research to large-scale commercialization. Key issues include improving capture efficiency, reducing costs, and optimizing storage methods. The CCUS Forum is not only a platform for learning and exchange but also a critical opportunity to advance our national goal of net zero emissions by 2050.
