● Background
In 2015, the United Nations announced the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” and adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that clearly defined the direction of global efforts for 2016-2030. Over the past nine years, organizations worldwide have integrated the SDGs into their internal cultures and adopted innovative strategies to practice sustainable development. There have been many inspiring breakthroughs and success stories. The Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) joins forces for global sustainability development.
