Introduction
National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST)
Established in 2018 through the merger of three institutions, NKUST is the largest University of Science and Technology in Taiwan, with over 28,000 students.
Rooted in SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, NKUST integrates academic and industry resources to promote University Social Responsibility (USR) and sustainable development. Guided by its “GREAT” vision—Globalization, Responsibility, Enhancement, Alignment, and Trend—the university aligns its growth with national strategies and global trends.
With a strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and social engagement, NKUST is shaping future-ready talent and positioning itself as a global leader in technical and vocational education.
