Hsinchu City Government

Hsinchu City Government has adopted five core values (Hospitality, Sustainability, Creativity, Intelligence and Partnership) as the foundation of city development, and promotes ten major governance strategies (Good for the Elderly and Young People, Good Education Environment in Hsinchu, Industry Innovation, Transportation Accessibility, Youth Vitality, Intelligent Governance, Livability and Sustainability, Peace of Mind in Health, Happiness and Friendliness, and Beauty of Hsinchu). Each of these strategies can be linked to the SDGs. By collaborating with industry, government, academia, research institutions, and the public, the city actively promotes cross-regional and international sustainability exchanges and leverages technological applications to enhance resilience in the social, economic, and environmental dimensions, striving to create “Secure Living Technology City” where happiness is sustainable for all citizens.
