The Taiwan University of Education (TUE) was established on June 6, 2012, with the aim of upholding the distinguished tradition of teacher preparation and serving as a vital and stabilizing force in Taiwan’s teacher education system.
It is an alliance of seven teaching-oriented and comprehensive universities with strong expertise in teacher education: University of Taipei (UT), National Taichung University of Education (NTCU), National Chiayi University (NCYU), National University of Tainan (NUTN), National Pingtung University (NPTU), National Taitung University (NTTU), and National Dong Hwa University (NDHU).
Through the collaborative efforts of its partner institutions, TUE promotes inter-university collaboration, facilitates resource sharing, and supports a wide range of exchange programs. It is also committed to advancing educational research and fostering local educational development, thereby maximizing the synergy generated by the alliance.
